Rustic and fall go hand in hand, but it’s sure taken up a notch when a nostalgic back to school theme is thrown in the mix, wouldn’t you say? Dawn Photography + Rescued & Repurposed wanted to share vintage wedding ideas that strayed from the Pinterest norm and showed couples that you can make your wedding whatever you want it to be (school bus or not)—it’s completely up to Y-O-U. Really though, such great advice. You do you, guys!
Noisette whipped up this beyond dreamy cake + The Sassy Cupcake rounded out the dessert bar.The focus of this styled wedding was to create a back to school, vintage feel. We wanted that nostalgic fall feeling of apple cider, picking apples at the local orchard, and riding the school bus. It was the perfect combination of romance and nostalgia. Casey, who owns Rescued & Repurposed, completely renovated the bus to become a mobile vintage boutique. All the furniture was found throughout Oregon at vintage fairs, flea markets, and antique stores.
How pretty is this gown?
The color palette of yellow, gold, red, and green really pops. Thanks to Dawn Photography + team for breaking the mold with this one.
