An apple orchard. Dreamy bouquets. Dessert and drinks for two. THIS is how you kick off November. Photographer Alea Lovely + floral designer Victorian Gardens teamed up to give a quintessential apple orchard scene—that’s absolutely stunning, btw—a more personal spin. They went rustic but not too vintage, romantic but a little edgy, and maintained the couple’s personal style within all the fashion choices too. Basically, if you’re looking for a great way to inject your personality into a classic venue like Weston Red Barn Farm, get out your notepad.
Alea says, I always thought there was something magical about an apple orchard in the fall. So I wanted to play up that setting with a couple that embraces a little bit of their own style… Amy of Victorian Gardens did a wonderful job picking a non traditional color palettes and natural items to bring out the best colors. Fruit like pomegranates, grapes, and gooseberries were added to complement raw wood and the golden glassware added a splash of fall to the overall tablescape.
There’s no rule saying you have to reserve your floral arrangements and décor for the tabletop alone—the abundance of flower and fruit here IS pretty magical.
Pink hair and pink dress and man bun and navy jacket… Are you taking notes yet?
Thanks to Alea Lovely for the sweetest first shoot of November!
