Nick + Maryann’s wedding had so many things we love all at once: a little Anthropologie, a little organic, and lots of big, bright, head-turning flowers. (Are those coral charm peonies blowing your mind right now?) And what goes better with all those things than the magical oak tree (just wait…) at Circle Oak Ranch in Fallbrook, CA? Thanks to Ali Mae Photography for the photos!

We felt very strongly about incorporating lots of floral accents into it as well. We utilized the colors by adding sage-like greens in the bouquets and big potted centerpieces, with pops of orange, blush, coral and fuchsia, as well as having our water goblets be all mixed in amber, blush, gold-rimmed, and copper tumblers. Then we threw the Anthropologie pops in with dip-dyed cone garland strung from end to end of chairs and around our dessert table along with the dip-dyed table runners. We aimed to intentionally make it a day of joy and dancing, while also making it feel comfortable and intimate.

Exactly why Siren Floral Co is one of our faves. No words, no words!

Rachael of Lace & Likes incorporated a ton of DIY elements into the day, from a dip-dyed garland and table runners to spray painted pots and a photo booth backdrop created using woven wood strips in various bright colors.

On their most memorable moment…
If anyone were to ask us, in unison we both would answer with, “our first look.” We both started the process agreeing that we would not do a first look. We thought we wanted it to be the traditional way where we wouldn’t see each other until the ceremony. However, somewhere during our engagement our minds and feelings on the idea of a first look completely shifted. And we are SO grateful that happened. The first look will be something we will have stamped in our memories forever. Something about it was so magical. Being able to see one another and having that quiet time, without all the attention and eyes on us is what made it so special. We are both a bit reserved and do not like a lot of attention, so for us, having that moment alone was unforgettable. It still makes us smile!
