These two are pretty darling together, huh? 130 friends + fam celebrated with them at Brooklyn Winery but the venue’s cozy interior made everything even more intimate and warm. Kinda perfect for winter sparkles and tweed and dreamy photographs by Matt Lien, we must say!

Elena tells it, I’m half Spanish, half Japanese (born and raised in Madrid) and Dan is from Philly. We met in Ireland where I lived for 12 years so our wedding brought together people from all over (Dublin, London, Madrid, Tokyo, Portland). We really wanted our day to reflect our love for country living and wine but also our love for Brooklyn. We made sure we sourced locally owned business for all of our vendors (florist, calligrapher, favors etc).
They made this neat seating chart with twine and wooden feathers from The Great Lakes Goods.
Our décor was focused on rustic tones and woodland animals (wood communal tables, letterpress seating cards and menus, burlap runners, bear matches etc). Our intention was to have a cozy celebration as if we were outside of the city. We looked at many venues but we knew Brooklyn Winery was the place for us. It’s the perfect space for a winter wedding, all the wood makes it very cozy and the vintage details very romantic and rustic. Also their planners were superb!
All the guys wore custom Donegal tweed suits from StudioSuits and the ladies wore Adrianna Papell + Joanna August dresses and wreaths from Sprout with ribbons from Frou Frou Chic. Elena’s Beilin Gown by Watters fits in quite flawlessly, too. See more from their day below:
