Is there anything cuter than a “moon + stars” wedding theme? Joshua + Amber love Coldplay’s A Sky Full Of Stars (it was their recessional) and from there came a midnight blue + glittery color story and a whole lotta theme ideas, like classic Hollywood flair (which this is a perfect LA venue for) and celestial décor mixed with natural greens. Lots of details to share in this Lombardi House wedding thanks to Mark Brooke Photography!
Amber tells it, Anemone was one flower on my list that I HAD to have but they weren’t in season at the time. So my amazing floral designer Colette of Brier Rose Design found a vendor that could ship them in from Colombia! I love how they have that blue center which matches one of my theme colors midnight blue! I also had to have lots of eucalyptus as I love the scent and look of it!
BTW, if you’re looking to channel the moon + stars in your own wedding or party, Amber’s Pinterest board is chockfull of DIYs.
It took them awhile to find the ideal venue for a 250 person guest list…. That is until they discovered Lombardi House. They enlisted the team at Grand Hope Events for planning and design. Amber says, We had a 6 month engagement and we were on a super strict budget. I think we overcame that hurdle by being creative on how we can make our money stretch. The DIYs and research to find the best deals were definitely two that helped us save money!
Congrats guys!
