A little background on this incredible scene: This whole blush + black inspiration shoot by Gemini Photography Ontario is for the couple that loves a good soft color palette, but also really wants their day to stand out as uniquely them. Jennie of A Divine Affair, made sure to show that romance isn’t defined by any one theme, and a few different elements can be mixed in too.
Jennie’s tips for standing out without compromising those pretty details: Think blush and black, French pastries, and ballet-inspired tulle skirts. Then add in modern loose florals, gold, copper, and brass décor accents and geometric shapes… Juxtaposing delicate floral details and barely-there blush with eye-catching black creates a design contrast as well as it complements.
The black tulle overskirt is Jodi by Catherine Langlois Bride. Wouldn’t it be so bold and fun for the reception?
A few more notes from the team: The gorgeous guest table with décor by Simply Beautiful features flowers by Fleurish Design Studio. The gold Grace chairs really pop up against the black linens while the light blush chiffon runner softens the entire table. The sweetheart table was designed to mirror the guest table, using black Grace chairs, abundant blooms and muted champagne sequin linens.
Why yes, this would be a suspended sweets table, with the most magical treats ever…
Thanks to the crew below for inspiring us to think outside the box today…
