Had to set the stage a little. So we headed to Brilliant Earth for some ring shopping with our good friend Lauren. We each shared our personal styles and left the rest to the experts—they knew exactly which diamonds we’d be into.

And if you’re not sure about your style, it’s always a good idea to go get a feel for what you like…
Kristina also has a pretty relaxed California style, but with a bit of a 70s flair. Think worn in jeans, vintage Coach, sundress, freckles, simple gold jewelry, and always sandals. Always. If your style is as laid back as hers, it might be nice to opt for something a teeny bit fancier than you normally would. You’ll get to feel all dressed up when it’s on, which makes it all the more special. Perhaps try a classic round or something a little less common like pear or oval to cater to your adventurous side.
