Modern boho, oh how we love ya. Brittany of Reality and Retrospect Photography + R&R’s stylist and planner Bobette, created this whole gorgeous scene using lots of unique thrift store finds which gave everything a vintage pop with modern updates. The best part? The team managed to create a setting as stunning as that Rue de Seine gown. Le sigh!
Bobette, the stylist, is a thrift store junkie and is always discovering unique and inexpensive items and gives them the necessary updates to make them feel fresh. She got the sweetheart table and chairs, the peacock chair, the wicker cake plate, and the centerpiece (which is actually a vintage brass log holder for a fireplace) all from various thrift stores in the past few months.
How perfect is this invitation suite from Four Things Paper?
We hauled all of these fun finds to a field on the outskirts of Carlsbad that was complete with tall grass and eucalyptus trees. Our color palette consisted of rich raspberry and plum tones, combined with some teals and peaches, perfect for a summer or fall wedding. With a sequined Rue De Seine dress and the most glittery shoes you’ve ever seen, we gave our bride the right amount of glamour that one would expect from the 80’s.
New obsession: ombre cake with cascading greenery. Kudos to Eat Your Cake Too on this beaut.
