Did you all catch our DIY ceremony ribbon wand + flower girl hoop wreaths last week? We dreamed up all that wedding decor with the help of the P-touch Embellish Ribbon & Tape Printer, which allows you to personalize ribbon and tape with 14 fonts, and more than 900 patterns + symbols. It’s pretty great, so we thought we’d throw one more easy wedding DIY at ya using this handy tool: printed ribbons for your bridal bouquet. Here’s how it’s done…
BTW, how amaze is this bouquet by our gal Shindig Chic? Siiiigh!
OK, so the how-to: First, grab your P-touch Embellish satin ribbon of choice. For our designs, we went with a white and pink ribbons to print romantic quotes and personal details in gold using fonts Brussels and US. Then, it’s super easy to type out the text you want and instantly print it on the ribbon.
The P-touch Embellish also has more than 400 symbols to choose from, so we embellished our ribbon with cute little hearts on each end, though you could choose to opt for repeating text that runs the length of your ribbon. There’s also lots of templates to help you get started.
You can also print off your names and/or date or any other wedding deets to give the bouquet even more of a personal touch. We matched up some of our favorite hues, blush and coral, with the pretty ranunculus and other spring blooms in the bouquet. It’s definitely worthwhile to hook up with your floral designer on what ribbons will look best with your specific floral arrangements.
Voilà! Learn more about the P-touch Embellish in our last post, or head straight to Michael’s to snag your own.
