Oh, how we love Bali destination weddings around here—remember the last wedding at Khayangan Estate that Iluminen shared with us? They’ve since photographed Virainia + Alfred’s 120 guest wedding, which featured three main events including a beautiful Chinese ceremony and modern tropical reception. Scroll on down to see how it all turned out!
How stunning is the cheongsam our bride wore to her Chinese ceremony? All three of her dresses are spectacular, as you’ll see.
Their story… We are two very different people. I am a more uptight, detailed person, whereas he is an easygoing, spontaneous person. Because of this, we often have different opinions but throughout the seven years of our relationship before we got married, we learned a lot about each other and how we could make us work. And in the end, we complement each other perfectly and make each other better every day.
These views! Sigh…
On choosing a photographer… We wanted our wedding photos to really capture the feeling on the day. We chose Iluminen because we think that their artwork focuses more on the people, feelings and atmosphere rather than just the “looks”.
For the decor, A + V stuck to natural hues like green, white, wood, and just a hint of soft pinks and peach as accents. Their style is simple and not too over the top, so earthy and elegant was perfect for them. And so pretty, obviously!
