Happy last week of April, all! Don’t know if we’ve ever dreamt up a shoot as full of spring goodness as our latest collab with The Black Tux. It’s wedding season, and many of us are *at least* on the hunt for wedding guest attire, if not working with our pals to create an entire wedding party look for spring + summer weddings. So instead of focusing on the bride + groom today, we wanted to give a shout out to the groomsmen. The many options available at The Black Tux go oh-so perfectly with all of the bridesmaid options at Nordstrom, which is pretty darn convenient considering how many of their showroom locations across the US are right inside Nordstrom stores.
The whole process is so simple (and fun, even!) that your groom and his groomsmen can find sleek wedding looks that not only look great on their own, but coordinate perfectly with the rest of the wedding party… floral bridesmaids ‘n all.
Fresh pink blooms were an obvious must for a springtime affair.
So, our first look. This is The Black Tux’s Light Grey Suit with their Burgundy Knit Necktie, which you might think of fall for at first glance, but seeing it paired with the light hue and our blush bridesmaid totally made it pop for spring. Just a little unexpected texture for ya.
Here’s a refresher for how The Black Tux works, for those of you who haven’t tried ’em out yet: Guys receive their outfits 14 days before their event. Like we mentioned above, they can pop into any of their 20 showrooms across the country, which is super convenient if groomsmen are coordinating from different cities. Even if they can’t make it to a showroom, no worries at all. Everyone who gets started with The Black Tux is asked a series of questions that help them determine the perfect size.
BTW, we went just a tad crazy for Drop it Modern‘s wallpaper designs. Can you blame us?
Next up, we’ve got their Blue Suit. The Navy Pindot Silk Necktie is a perfect complement, we think. Brides, if you’re worried that a row of maids’ in florals might look a little too busy (how cute is this blue floral print though?!), remember to think about the whole picture! They’ll look so sweet alongside the guys in clean, polished suits—and they can still make it their own with a printed tie and/or pocket square, all up for grabs via The Black Tux.
It’s also worth knowing that they’ve got a fit guarantee. So, if in the end, something doesn’t fit quite right out of the box, they’ll just ask you to hold onto them as they send you new sizes until everything’s perfect.
And of course, *the* tux! This one is the Notch Lapel Tux.
When it comes time to return the suit, that’s easy peasy, too. Just pack it up and ship it back post-event, within three days.
The tux sure gives ups the chic factor a light, flowy dress. Pop on into our gallery for more spring wedding party inspiration!
