If you were a fan of all the beautiful wedding ideas you scrolled through in The Modern Love Event San Diego, this month’s Nashville event will knock your socks off. Fun fact: Nashville is actually now the #1 US destination for weddings, and it’s a really exciting time for this lively city.
Jill of Modern Love Event says, There’s something really interesting happening there with more traditional Southern weddings becoming more a thing of the past, and newer more trend setting weddings taking their place. The venues there are insane and cover such a vast range of style that really anyone could come to Nashville and find something perfect for them. They’re also the mecca for music lovers, foodies, and shoppers, so it’s not like you’re twisting your guest’s arms to get them there!
We’ve got tons of eye candy from photogs Morgan Franklin + Christy Wilson and all the highlights from Jill for you below. Take a peek, then check out Modern Love Event for 2019 dates + locations!
These large scale pieces by Emily of Basil and Bergamot stole our breaths away. Did you know Emily has a farm and grows most of her ingredients?!

This team made some serious floral magic with their lush runner contrasted with a dried foraged wall installation.

There’s no set theme or concept for each event—instead, it’s a base palette inspired by a wedding detail—like a stationery set in San Diego’s event or a floral arrangement in Nashville. Designers can interpret them as closely or loosely as they’d like and work their magic!

We loved how this duo designed their space mixing modern rentals with unexpected wild foraged florals.

Each vignette is completed by a team of vendors that bring their own ideas to the table while collaborating on every detail… Just like you’d hope to see with your own vendor team!

We were lucky enough to be able to visit the headquarters of Please Be Seated and were blown away by their vast inventory, like this customizable bar that they added our logo to. Thank you to our floral sponsor Ambedo Floral for dressing up our bar and the entrance to the event! Please Be Seated was also our sole sponsor for all rentals in Nashville.

All of our vendors were encouraged to invite their future clients to the event for inspiration and to secure additional vendors. Our photographer Morgan Franklin was so excited to see one of her 2019 brides at the event and with one of our swag bags!

We love how each designer interpreted the palette and used their aesthetic to create a unique space. Installations were huge this year and will continue to be going forward. We were so happy to see so many inspiring looks!

The light at The Cordelle is unreal. The original brick walls and wood floors worked beautifully with this deconstructed design by Jessica Sloane.
