Alice in Wonderland is a pretty classic kids birthday party theme, no? Well, we can guarantee you haven’t seen one styled up like this, which all began when birthday girl Pia and fam were missing their regular Disneyland trips… and favorite ride, of course. The details? Nothing short of magical! Thanks to Alison Bernier for sharing!
Mama and party planner extraordinaire Kristen Dimond says, I used the bright colors of the ride and the Mad Tea Party ride as inspiration for the party, and included elements from the park like colorful lanterns, hanging vines overhead, and Alice’s famous “unbirthday” cake. I also knew I wanted to include seemingly impossible details like floating flowers and flying cards to make it feel magical to the girls. We even played a Disneyland Park soundtrack throughout the house and backyard during the party to make us feel like we were there. Though we weren’t able to get to Disneyland for Pia’s birthday, we were able to recreate a small part of it at home to make her day special!
The balloons!!!
Can you even believe your eyes with these desserts? Jen Tee Bakes is to credit for the whole shebang!
They even had their own rides! Talk about magical.
