Cakies, you are going to love K + E’s destination wedding in Mexico. Planning from Toronto with the help of Amy Abbott Events, they managed to merge the obvious destination wedding perks (hi, Cabo vacay!) with a gorgeous farm venue and intimate family-friendly atmosphere. Is there any better way to spend a summer evening?
Kelly says, Flora Farms is such a unique venue. When most people imagine a destination wedding they imagine a resort-style wedding which is also beautiful, but the farm provides such an unexpected atmosphere for guests that we both really loved. We also enjoy rustic antique-style décor which is the style of our loft in Toronto where we live, so this venue was an immediate fit.
These two have stunning style, don’t they? Kelly’s wedding dress is by Rosa Clara from Avenue 22 Bridal in Toronto and Pina Cate Designs was behind the bouquet.
The location was just so beautiful with the twinkling overhead lights, lanterns, and votives, and everyone just had so much fun the entire time. From being hoisted up on chairs during the horah to the epic dance party in the barn, where our love of indie folk really blended well with the farm setting, the energy never dropped. As we wound down the night rocking out to Wagon Wheel and finally The Cave, we were overcome with such joy as we were surrounded by everyone that was important to us.
