Sometimes choosing a location to say I Do is easy. The hard part is a teeny tiny decision like the venue itself. Heather + Jon knew Lake Tahoe was the place, but it was in the details: Should it be entirely outdoors? Would it be convenient for guests? The Chateau had the perfect blend. Scanning the room during dinner and seeing the faces of 100 closest friends + fam, they knew it was the right choice.
Thanks to Lynette Boyle for sharing all the sweet moments captured on camera.

Heather explains, We love to spend time outdoors and wanted to keep the style for the wedding natural and outdoorsy feeling, while also simple and elegant. We didn’t have a particular color in mind, again wanting to keep it natural, but in the end green became a dominant color. The Chateau had a beautiful outdoor setting, quintessential Tahoe feel, and right location since we wanted to be in North Lake Tahoe.

The bridal bouquet had garden roses, lisianthus, dahlias, oak leaves, and greenery. So romantic.

A few words from Lynette… Heather chose a gorgeous Anna Maier gown, and simple yet elegant Stuart Weitzman heels. They kept their wedding party very simple, Jon’s father was the best man (and gave such a touching speech, I still tear up thinking about it) and Heather’s sister was the maid of honor. Heather’s sister chose a beautiful full-length emerald green dress to compliment the wedding colors, and both girls held lush bouquets featuring oak ivy, as a nod to the change in the season… For the reception, farm tables and La Tavola were the perfect canvas for the beautiful woodland floral elements and lush urns that Christina created to compliment their surroundings. The women in Heather’s family all lent their favorite heirloom cake plates to display the cupcakes and wedding cake.
