This elopement inspiration Kylie Morgan Photography sent our way embodies the perfect low-key elopement concept that we talked about last month. It just shows that a picnic, a beautiful location, and maybe a design element or two, is all you really need to make the magic happen… Oh, and a big ol’ moon backdrop, if you can!
But seriously, isn’t the crescent moon arbor so neat right against the desert backdrop? The cracked-open dry lake bed of the Alvord Desert in southeast Oregon makes for such an intriguing landscape, too:
(Especially adorned with Inkling Calligraphy‘s gorgy lettering.)
Love this neutral tabletop!
We took the things that inspire us most, and wanted to incorporate it into the types of weddings we love most—an elopement where it’s all about the bride and groom and their love for each other. The way they tick and fit together like a puzzle. We wanted to focus mostly on the location and how vast it was, along with the energy between the couple—all the desert colors as the sun set, while incorporating a little bit of a celestial and ethereal theme that coincided with the peace and tranquility of the desert.
Lovely hair and makeup by Bloom Bella Boise for the bride.
Rust & Thistle channeled the moody romance with a burgundy bouquet, and the bride wore a dreamy Rish Bridal dress.Find 10 more tips for planning your perfect elopement here. Thanks to Kylie + the folks below for sharing!
