Today’s elopement by Albatross Wedding Photography offers our adventurous couples inspiration for a cozy winter celebration in a surprising location—Papingo, a historic complex of villages amongst the mountains of Northern Greece. The planning team Pompon Story set grooms Per & Konstantinos up with a whimsical scene near icy cliffs and waterfalls, complete with lots of color against their dramatic natural backdrop.
The village of Papingo is inside Greece’s Vikos–Aoös National Park, and the venue, Avragonio Resort, offers a cozy respite from the snowcapped Astraka peak of Mt Tymphe that towers over it.
Manousenia Design dreamt up this vibrant winter invitation suite in surprising hues of emerald green, magenta, rust orange, yellow and fuchsia. The custom silk scarf was a surprise gift exchanged along with vows!Konstantinos and Per indulged their privacy enjoying the scenery, drinking hot chocolate and champagne while the prepared themselves the desserts through the interactive set up of materials. Brownies, tarts, melted chocolate in fondue, fresh fruits and a variety of little pastry goods waited for them to be tasted. Highlight of the tableware! The custom printed tablecloth, the mini discoballs as personal Christmas gifts for each one and the impressive colors derived from the sophisticated floral arrangements by Arximandritis Lampros.
Always fun to have a brunch activity!
Afterward, the couple went over to this incredible ceremony locale which was adorned in a vibrant floral arch suspended over the waterfall.
Congrats to Per & Konstantinos on their cozy yet adventurous winter elopement!
