This winter cocktail party comes at the perfect time. The holidays are over, the excitement of the January 1st is starting to fade—even for those of us who are killin’ it with our resolutions (which are to throw more parties, we’ll assume…). Layered Vintage + Plum and Oak Photo will be the first to tell you that all you need are good friends and a killer drink recipe to spice up an ordinary weekend. Who says you need to leave the winter festivities behind when the holidays are over?
Might as well transfer this calligraphed menu by Maggie of Type & Title straight over to the grocery list…
Jill of Layered Vintage says, I fell in love with this tasty cocktail at Makers Arcade‘s holiday fair this past December. Jen and Rebecca are the masterminds behind Makers and Jen owns Communal Coffee so she brought the recipe and the pour overs to the party… Makers Mark is what we drink this time of year (tequila is on the shelf until summer). It warms ya up from the inside out!
They looove copper (we do too!) so they had a ton of platters and canisters all over the party for a little extra pop, along with foraged rosemary wreaths that would be super easy to recreate.
Can’t forget homemade cocoa with crushed peppermint + mini marshmallows too.
Looks like a blast!
