Morning, Cakies! Ready to get inspired by our chic couple, photographer and TV personality Karolina and her guy Sorab? They live in Montreal but love all things Andalusia so their lucky guests followed them to Spain for a most fashionable destination wedding in Seville. It was a celebration full of surprises, starting with the bride’s spectacular custom Viero Bridal gown. Big thanks to the talented Benjamin Wheeler for sharing the photos!
So stunning!!! You’ll love the reception look, too…
When it came to her bridal party, she simply asked them to wear long, flowy dresses in more neutral tones.
Brides, if your ‘maids are into fashion, just let ’em do their thing!
K + S were able to visit twice while planning from Montreal, and planner Love A Tope made sure everything came together.
Karolina explains, We chose to get married in Spain because I have been traveling to Spain since I was little and have a deeply rooted passion for the culture, the food and the people. We really wanted our guests to feel the essence of Spain and Seville but including a lot of elements true to the Andalusian culture such a Tuna Band serenading us after the ceremony, flamenco dancers, oranges as decor centre pieces, truly unique Andalusian fusion food, custom Spanish fans and more.
The fun little “LOVE” messaging was carried throughout the entire event.
We held our reception, dinner, and party at Villa Luisa. We knew we wanted to host our wedding there as soon as we first saw it. It is utterly romantic, architecturally stunning and really represents the South of Spain with its Neo-Mudejar style. It truly feels like a dream when you walk the grounds of this splendid space between its numerous palm trees, fountains, and the central villa. We also wanted a place that felt cozy and warm while chic and luxurious and Villa Luisa really ticked all these boxes—our guests were amazed! Also it helped that we could party there until 6am *wink*.
OH, and did we mention the GIANT heart cake?!? Kudos to Aquarela for whipping up this mega surprise!
Nailed it!
For dinner, Karolina rocked a gorgeous Temperley London dress and custom floral headpiece by Roiz Hats.
Matching neon jackets from The Neon Muse, yes pls.
Kicking 2020 off on a high note, aren’t we? Cheers to the happy couple!
