Such a fairytale wedding coming to us from Hawaii today, Cakies. You know Haiku Mill, one of Maui’s prettiest wedding venues set in a lush garden setting off the road to Hana? Mary and Nick managed to make it *even more* magical with a baby’s breath arch, hanging flowers, and twinkling lights at every turn. If you love Maui but aren’t looking for your typical beach wedding, this one’s for you!
From the bride: “Yes my dress was custom Galia Lahav. I went to their store in LA. Customizing it was super easy, partially because I knew exactly what I wanted but mostly because they were so open to any custom ideas and are so easy to work with. We combined the bust and bottom of two separate dresses, then myself and my consultant Kaila created the sleeves together. They made embroidery for my sleeves to match the bust. It couldn’t have been a more wonderful experience!”
This floral and gold seating chart is just too pretty!
For their special day, Mary and Nick wanted it to feel like their guests had stumbled upon a secret garden, overflowing with florals and lights. The Mill already provided a lush canopy of green vegetation that enveloped the space, but they wanted to infuse pops of color into the decor. For this, they enlisted florist Teresa Sena who brought the couple’s vision to life better than they could ever have imagined by expertly weaving a variety of pastels into the design.
Love seeing a beautiful ceremony arch make an appearance at the reception, too:
Having a small, intimate wedding was important to Mary and Nick. They only wanted to have their closest people celebrate with them – the ones that are part of their daily lives, who have loved them and supported them throughout the years. To the couple, the entire day felt like they were “wrapped in love” and having a small wedding only enhanced that love and intimacy. It was a beautiful day that won’t soon be forgotten.
WOW ✨ So beyond dreamy! Congratulations, Mary + Nick!
