Happy April, all! Would you believe that Timary + Trey’s Frederick Loewe Estate is actually our first Palm Springs wedding of 2018? Yup. T + T tied the knot on New Years Eve with only 14 guests, all immediate family members. It made the day super memorable and intimate, allowing them to stay in the present and focus on them and each other in the beautiful setting that Bash Please helped them create. Scroll through Lauren Scotti‘s gorgy images for peeks at the venue + their NYE style!
The bride scored here romantic Zuhair Murad gown from Elite Pour La Vie in Atlanta. Dreamy!
This beaut by Siren Floral Co. featured sweet peas, anemones, white majolica, plumosa fern, koko loco roses , jasmine, and Chilean fern.
Timary tells it, I love the mid-century modern look, and Palm Springs could not have had more options to choose from for that style. My amazing wedding planner Bash Please and I came up with the perfect color story for the wedding. Our colors included gold, midnight, ash, emerald, and king protea. I wanted the colors to blend well with the landscaping, so we stayed with the natural tones.
Trey & I visited the Frederick Loewe Estate in the dead of summer. We could not get over the unreal views that this venue had to offer. For the first time during this visit to Palm Springs, we weren’t bothered by the desert temperatures—we wanted to stay on the lawn to soak in the panoramic views for as long as we could.
Black and blush, it’s a classic combo for a reason…
So, you guys have all seen the black and gold stripe watercolor dinnerware collection from Casa de Perrin, right? They sure made fabulous use of this bold collection, if you ask us.
And the black, blush, and gold design doesn’t stop there… Are you ready for the cake?
Their story… Trey and I grew up in small towns in Georgia literally right next to each other—about 15 miles apart at most, but it wasn’t until we both moved hundreds of miles away to Athens, GA for college before we actually met. It was football season at UGA (Go Dawgs!) and the night before a huge rivalry game when we bumped into each other downtown. We made an instant connection… like we had known each other all of our lives.
On the night Trey proposed, he took me to the same restaurant that we went to on our first date. It wasn’t out of the ordinary since we had dinner there all of the time; it’s our favorite. I even asked Trey how he thought our relationship was going at dinner and he said “oh it’s okay”-I was bothered but not for long because a few hours later he was down on one knee proposing to me. He had my sister hang lights on the rooftop of my apartment overlooking downtown Athens. I thought my apartment had been decorated for Christmas, so it didn’t tip me off but it was beautiful and so sweet.
Cheers, guys!
