So, who’s on the hunt for a unique Palm Springs wedding venue? Kassi + Nick were one of the first couples to say I Do at The Pond Estate, which is a magical pink desert oasis that recently opened its doors for weddings. As a stylist and designer, Kassi took on the planning herself, getting creative in a space that was a true destination for their 105 guests traveling from afar. Her goal was to create a modern yet romantic and playful design that would capture the true beauty of Palm Springs. If you love pink accents and luxe details, these photos Brianna Broyles captured are right up your alley!
Aren’t the details at this venue so spectacular?
Kassi explains, The Pond Estate is truly a breathtaking property. The grounds are so well-kept and are bursting with the most spectacular and unique cacti everywhere you go. On both sides of the Estate are beautiful jagged mountains that are even more spectacular when the sun shines on them so perfectly. The Estate has a beautiful pond, where two ducks who love each other swim together, and throughout our weekend there we saw them from time to time. I was one of the first brides to book The Pond Estate, so that too was exciting to be able to have free design possibilities and really use my own creative ideas and my family’s. The bougainvillea falls just perfectly over this stunning arch that my dad suggested we walk under, and it made for the most gorgeous photos. The architecture and landscape are truly inspiring and make for the perfect event space.
So cute!
The most memorable moment for me was definitely walking down the aisle with my dad. The whole day didn’t really feel real until it was just my dad and I about to walk down, and I remember my dad telling me how beautiful I looked, and just writing this brings tears to my eyes. That moment was so pure and special walking with him and looking at my future husband and his eyes starting to fill with happy tears. I really wanted to find a special way to incorporate my mom, so in the hand-off we also gave a sweet hug to my mom before starting the ceremony. That was really special to be able to have both of my parents have a moment with me right before all of the vows as well as have my sister right next to me as the Maid of Honor.
The groom and groomsmen all sported Chookhare & Sons while the bridesmaids wore Show Me Your Mumu Caitlin Ruffle Maxi Dresses in Dusty Blush Crisp.
All of the decor and rentals Kassi chose are just too perfect for this incredible space…
It took me about 8 months to plan my wedding with some help from my very creative mom. The biggest hurdle was finding a rental company that had trendy and modern pieces to really make my vision come true. Most rental companies tend to have the same inventory that has been done many times before. And while many of those items look beautiful, I really wanted something current and unique. So finding Arrangements Design was a game changer. They have the most stunning rentals, some of which they’ve made by hand. They are a fantastic team to work so closely with! The day before they were setting out the ceremony chairs, they even pulled me aside to make sure I was 100% happy with the chair angles, so they really made sure the details were in place that I had hoped for and requested.
How we love a good sunset-inspired color palette around here!
Even better at dusk…

A few notes for those of you eyeing The Pond Estate…
For any brides thinking of having their wedding at the Pond Estate, I highly recommend it. They are great communicators, quick on email, text, calls, and venue walkthroughs. We were lucky enough to visit the Estate three times before our wedding to do walkthroughs, which were extremely helpful for understanding how to direct the execution of the event. There are two major estates on the property, the Main House and the Tennis House, as well as a few other casitas. So this is a great feature if you want to house some of your guests on the property. However, you do have to rent each one out in addition to renting it out for the event. We chose to have both houses so that the groomsmen would have the Tennis House to get ready in, and the bridesmaids would be in the Main House, which was a perfect layout.
They do have an onsite Property Manager to help with music or any potential hiccups on property, which was a blessing. Palm Springs does have a very strict noise policy, so the event does have to be finished up by 10pm at this venue. We finished up our night over at the Speakeasy at Mr. Lyons, which stays open until 2am.
Such great advice. Cheers, you two!
