Fun announcement alert, Cakies! Today we’re kicking off a new and way fun partnership with our friends and groom style experts, The Black Tux. (Insert confetti cannon emoji here.) If you don’t know The Black Tux yet, you reeeeallly should. They’ve made renting a suit or tux thoroughly modern, incredibly easy, and most importantly the tippy top for fashionable guys. Or guys who have partners who want them to look fashionable for their big day. *wink*
For our first post we thought we’d hire some models we know pretty well… our husbands! ‘Cause what better way to talk about the rental process with The Black Tux than to make our menfolk into customers. We had such a fun time and seriously, the suits they wore were amazing.
So let’s get to the service, shall we? The best part – it all happens online and in your home. Choose your outfit, enter your sizes (more on that here), and it arrives at your doorstep in a tidy little package ready for you to wear 14 days before your event. When your big day has passed, simply drop the whole box back in the mail with the included return label and send it back. And if you happen to be local, you can always make an appointment to try on your faves in person at one of their showrooms in Santa Monica, Chicago or Dallas (and more showrooms opening soon). Don’t have a showroom near you? Don’t fret – you can order a free Home Try-On to check out the quality and fit firsthand months before your big day!
Kristina’s hubby Brock is wearing the Midnight Blue Tuxedo. Super chic alternative to classic black, no? He popped into the showroom to have his measurements taken and it was a breeze. The tux arrived a few days before our shoot and it fit like a glove.
He’s just testing out its flexibility for the dance party after the wedding. Approved!
Kristina’s look from BHLDN is Tulley Top & Amora Skirt. Yay for separates!
Jilly’s hubs Scott is wearing the classic Charcoal Suit, which is easily their most versatile suit. Fancy or casual, this one is ready for any party. Also that bouquet.
Jillian’s BHLDN look is the Brisa Dress. Matches those sparklers perfectly.
And Tim’s Peak Lapel Tuxedo looks super sharp with those black buttons, huh? Naturally, The Black Tux has a banging black tux. Which BTW can be rented as a complete outfit (including shirt, tie, pocket square, etc.) as well as just jacket and pants.
We call these two our lookers. Gotta have one set on the team!
Amanda’s sexy BHLDN gown is the Natalia.
Heeeeeeey! It’s the gals. Nice to show our faces around here!
Seriously, best service ever for grooms and groomsmen. Especially if you’re looking for something different for your wedding, but you don’t want to invest in a non-standard suit forever. The Black Tux offers the largest selection of formalwear options in the world! We have lots more in store with The Black Tux this year and we hope you’ll follow along. Cheers to 2017!
