We’re très inspired by the ultra chic French bride as of late, not to mention historic European wedding venues, because is there anything dreamier? French wedding stationery designer Cécile of Bonjour Paper checks everything off the must-have list with this styled shoot at a restored 19th century building in Germany. Keep on scrolling for a closer peek at this ethereal bride and her shimmery blue wedding dress, as captured by fine art photographer Anja Schneemann:
Cécile explains, Our bride wore the most incredible and glamorous Katherine Tash Bridal plissé blue gown and Bella Belle wedding heels. Makeup artist Julia Götz worked her magic and created an effortlessly cool and radiant look with sexy hair using Jannie Baltzer bridal accessories. The subtle pearl-effect makeup complemented perfectly the light shimmer of her dress.
Cécile dreamt up an elegant invitation suite that combines vintage hand-drawn elements inspired by the venue’s beautiful stucco walls and clean, chic typography.
Yep, totally on board with this soft blue and gold wedding palette.
Alleesaal in Bad Schwalbach, Germany has everything a bride may dream of for a fairy tale romantic wedding or reception. The rooms are decorated with rich neoclassical decorations in stucco and paintings on silk. There is a branch of the registration office in the venue so that civil weddings can take place directly in those stunning salons.
Die Kathe included dried hydrangea, toffee and white Kahala roses, white tulips, carnations, ranunculus, and oxypetalum for airy bouquets and arrangements. For the table setting, we chose a light and modern styling: organic ivory ceramic plates from French artisan Eloïse Dubois Ceramique, vintage gold candleholders, blue glasses and clear ghosts chairs—courtesy of Oh Wie Fein Deko—to balance the opulence of the room. A little extra: the napkins were printed on fine linen fabric with the same French Toile pattern found in the envelope liner. Florals in Ikebana style and bespoke menus adorned with blue tassels were the finishing touches.
Even La Vette‘s petite wedding cake mimicked the hotel’s gorgeous interiors.
