This bouquet. Talk about one for the books. When we saw this colorful, high-fashion wedding editorial captured by Sally Pinera we had to give you all a peek. Chloe & Mint teamed up with Of The Flowers for an ultra-modern, color blocked bridal shoot that gives the term ‘outside the box’ a whoooole new meaning…
The inspiration behind the shoot: Color blocking has been around for ages but we don’t see them well executed at weddings. Going from a singular color to multiple tones, color blocking allows the bride to focus on very intricate and particular details to execute tastefully.
BTW, is anthurium tropical plant of the year or what? So excited to see how this editorial inspires you all to incorporate unique blooms in your weddings + parties.
Naturally only Claire Pettibone + Marchesa are behind gowns bold enough for an editorial like this.
And we’re onto this yellow + light blue vignette…
GASP. This gown. Instant fave!
We’re expecting to see a lot more of these dramatic marigold tones in upcoming weddings, too. Trend alert!
We had the pleasure of working with Gabrielle Hurwitz who was our fashion stylist, with gorgeous Marchesa and Claire Pettibone gowns and simple yet alluring makeup. We had soft pink with poppy red, orange sorbet with lavender, and baby blue with sunny yellow. All of these color blocks are versatile and would be perfect for any season!
