Who else never fails to get a little *extra* inspired when we’ve got a moody wedding to share around here? It’s just so surprising, every time. Especially when there are just as many flowers as this vignette June Bloom Events, Beyond The Brush, and the team below hooked up for, with Ryanne Hollies behind the lens. They’re sharing more on how The Campbell House in Toronto inspired their Dutch botanical design… But first, can we take a moment to swoon over this cake?
Romantic, moody goodness by Le Dolci.
The fine art inspired florals found their way into other parts of the design, too, like in the stationery by Paper & Poste.
Joanne of June Bloom Events says, We dreamt of a seamless blend of Dutch botanicals and a historic setting, all integrated with a dark and moody colour palette. We wanted old world and non-tradition to meet. So we met, drew inspiration from each others creative gifts and produced wedding inspiration for the couple willing to step out the box and flaunt their authentic loving selves all while keeping things edgy, classic and mysterious.
And how’s this for an amazing floral installation? Hunt & Gather was behind the blooms.
The Campbell House, which is an 1822 heritage house and museum, was the perfect venue. From the beautiful wood furniture, vintage old blue wash basin and floral wallpaper. Which complimented the whimsy organic floral style of Hunt & Gather and the detailed filled gown by Narces.
