A few weeks ago we all enjoyed a retreat at the Mediterranean-inspired Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa in Rancho Santa Fe, California. You may have caught a peek at some of our instagram pics while we were on our much needed spring break, and now that we’re feeling rejuvenated we’re ready to tell you all about our trip… as told through the photos of the talented Jamie Street of Rad + In Love. P.S., If you’re considering a Southern California wedding venue, take note. Rancho Valencia really is a sanctuary of good living tucked away on 45 acres of lush gardens and olive groves (and one of the most relaxing spas ever). Take a peek!
Adjacent to their croquet field (see us hitting the ball around later in the post), is The Pony Room. They served up delish craft tequilas and cocktails alongside rustic American cuisine.
You guys know how much we love details, and Rancho Valencia had so many beautiful handcrafted touches that made us feel like we really had escaped to the Mediterranean.
Their Executive Chef Eric Bauer works personally with some of the country’s most notable farms to source the elements for his cuisine, ensuring only the best ingredients and freshest flavors possible at Rancho Valencia’s two restaurants. We dined at Veladora together with stunning valley views in a cozy, candlelit modern hacienda setting.
Guys, their spa treatments and rooms were to die for. Kristina indulged in a wrap after a game of tennis (just look at this!), Amanda + Jillian detoxified with a sweet scrubdown, and Junia took full advantage of the soothing mommy-to-be massage. We were in heaven. We loved how every detail is meticulously tailored to create the ultimate destination for wellness and tranquility. From the freshly-made organic fruit and vegetable juices to a Yoga Pavilion, Pilates studio, advanced exercise programs, and retreats hosted by top-tier wellness professionals.
There are so many perfect photo ops throughout the grounds, wink wink.
We’ve got to thank the ladies at the San Diego Dry Bar for coming over and polishing us off with these fab blow outs.
Brides, they’ve also got an entire list on their spa menu of bridal bliss packages + a la carte services like wedding day hair & makeup that would be amaze for you and your bridesmaids!
The staff at Rancho Valencia was truly stellar and treated us ever so kindly. They’ve got someone there to help with anything you’d need. Definitely recommend chatting with their dedicated wedding specialist (you can submit a wedding request proposal here) and checking out their wedding packages!
We had such an amazing time and can’t wait to get back there!
